Butler has been an established starter for nearly all of his seven NFL seasons. This room has a lot of new pieces, starting with Butler and Alford, the projected outside starters. The other question: Is Simmons ready for a big role? He didn’t always show it last season. It’ll be interesting to see how quickly the Cardinals throw Collins, their first-round pick, into the fire. The Cardinals re-signed Daniels to a one-year deal. Williams missed seven games in 2020 because of an ankle issue. Others on the roster: Darrell Daniels, Ian BuntingĪrizona is thin here and will have to add through free agency. His return appears doubtful, but you never know. Adding Green (free agency) and Moore (draft) should make this unit dangerous and give Murray plenty of options. Projected starters: DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Last season he rushed for 721 yards and six touchdowns with Pittsburgh, adding 35 catches for 215 yards. Edmonds was one of the team’s top playmakers last season, rushing for 448 yards and catching 53 passes for 402 yards. It’s unclear how this will work, but both backs have been productive. The Cardinals have a decent 1-2 punch with Edmonds and Conner, who signed a one-year deal last month.
